Guest connection & volunteer engagement

Help your church move people from attending to belonging and serving.

You care about the people walking through your doors. I help pastors and ministry teams make the next steps clearer, equip lay leaders to own the process, and put a practical plan into action.

About six weeks. One agreed priority. A plan your team can carry forward.

When people want to connect, the next step should be clear.

A warm welcome is a beginning. People also need a personal invitation, a clear next step, and someone who helps them follow through. If guests are unsure how to get involved, or a few staff members carry most of the follow-up, we can work on that together.

01

People want to belong.

Guests return, but the path into relationships and serving feels unclear.

02

Follow-up needs an owner.

Your team has good intentions, but ownership and follow-through are inconsistent.

03

More people can lead.

You want to equip lay leaders without adding another program your staff has to carry.

A practical starting point, shaped around your church.

Over about six weeks, we focus on guest connection and volunteer involvement. We begin with the process you already have, listen to the people carrying it, and choose the next changes your team is ready to make.

Clear ownership. A next step people can take.

The aim is a practical process your people can lead: who welcomes and follows up, how someone takes a next step, and who makes sure the connection happens.

We agree on a simple measure suited to your church, such as completed guest follow-ups, next-step participation, or first steps into serving.

Talk through your church's next step
  1. Understand your starting point

Review your current process, clarify the change you want to see, and identify the leaders who will own implementation.

  2. Work through it together

Meet for a 90-minute working session to identify gaps, clarify handoffs, and agree on practical next steps.

  3. Leave with a written plan

Receive clear actions, responsible people, and a simple measure of progress your team can use.

  4. Put the plan into practice

Use two short follow-up calls to review implementation, work through obstacles, and refine the next steps.

The 20-minute introductory call is complimentary. A project fee is quoted after we agree on scope. Virtual meetings and travel are available by arrangement, with travel expenses agreed separately. If small groups are the more pressing need, we can focus there instead.

Working alongside local leaders.

These examples describe my contribution alongside each church's own leaders.

Vineyard Church North Phoenix

Preparing a clearer path into connection and serving.

I consulted with the pastoral team as they prepared to launch Growth Track and shared resources to support guest connection and pathways into serving. Their leaders owned the implementation, adapting the process to their church.

Joplin Family Worship Center

Supporting a discipleship rollout and its leaders.

I supported the lead team through video consultations during the Freedom discipleship rollout, then traveled with a team to help deliver the concluding conference. The work focused on equipping local leaders to carry the ministry forward.
